Child injury caused by dog attack
In a gruesome child injury case, a four-year-old girl from South Wales suffered horrific wounds to her face and body after a vicious attack by three neopolitano mastiffs.
The dogs, which are believed to be owned by a relative, set upon the child inflicting cuts to her face and scalp and puncture wounds to her body. She was taken to hospital in Cardiff for treatment to her injuries which were not live threatening.
The dogs were destroyed following the incident and police are monitoring the owners.
